about
«The word “somewhere” in Russian can be used both in the meaning of location and in the meaning of “once, at some moment”. In the English version of the name for this sketch, I decided to leave an oxymoron, it turned out: somewhere (in a certain place) in August.
In recent days, I have immersed myself in the study of Chinese traditional thinking, where the main point is to observe time, its flow, "aroma", "taste" while not being involved in events. The essence of our life consists in the flow of time flows, our individuality is a feature of the movement of the shade of time.
Therefore, any time can be understood as a special form of the topology of life. A week, a month, a year ago - all these are not calendar numbers, but certain places on the map of our life, or, more precisely, certain areas of our unconscious, our fractal picture of the world.
And so the music depicting something "somewhere in August" is a little exploration and journey, an attempt to realize what the "flavor" of life was then, compare it with now and notice that the river is flowing. And this is the most important thing, to see and know that the river is flowing, and to live through life, and not through meanings.»
